2018 Summary-Just competed a book chapter draft on the Veteran Outreach Program I have been leading since 2015 as part of my strategic initiatives on behalf of the library system at West Virginia University. Focusing now on sustaining this program and integrating it into to the permanent structure of the libraries. 2016 Summary-Just returned from San Antonio, Texas known as Military City USA, where I attended a Town Hall meeting sponsored by Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS). It focused on services to veterans and brought an amazing group of people together to learn from each other and to increase the impact of what we offer to veterans from our libraries and museums. Participation was a real highlight of my career. In between summary: get in touch! 2009 Summary I am now receiving applications from faculty across all three of our Morgantown campuses for summer stipends to support course enhancements which address information literacy learning outcomes. Applications close March 11, 2009 and finalists will be selected shortly after that. Then teams will be formed between their library liaisons, the faculty member, and me. Then we'll get going on planning for the summer and new teaching in the fall. My central goals in 2009 are: to continue my life long learning process in order to be a more effective teacher; to wake people up to the shift from the Information Age to the Participatory Age; to make a compelling case for the new medias in learning; and to innovate on this campus so that eventually information literacy can be fully implemented across all disciplines at West Virginia University.
