My journey began with a strong foundation, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the esteemed University of Louisiana at Monroe. Building upon this foundation, I furthered my education and passion for nursing by obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics from Western Governors University. Throughout my career, I have held pivotal roles in various clinical areas, showcasing my adaptability and commitment to excellence. I have served as a Charge Nurse, where I honed my leadership skills and managed the intricacies of patient care. Additionally, my experience as a Clinical Coordinator allowed me to contribute to the seamless coordination of healthcare services, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. As an Assistant Nurse Manager, I played a key role in fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. My dedication to advancing the field of nursing extends beyond my day-to-day responsibilities. I am proud to be a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, a testament to my commitment to scholarly excellence and continuous learning. I am also an active participant in the American Organization of Nursing Leadership, where I engage with fellow leaders to shape the future of nursing and healthcare. My affiliations with esteemed organizations, such as the National Society of Leadership and Success, underscore my dedication to leadership development and service excellence. In recognition of my contributions to nursing education, I have authored six comprehensive review courses for the CVRN Certification review.
