Hello! My name is Carson Caulfield and I am pursuing my MSHA degree at UAB as a member of Class 58. I am originally from Mandeville, Louisiana and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Samford University in 2022 with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Healthcare Administration. I will begin my administrative fellowship with University of Kentucky HealthCare in 2024.I am currently an Administrative Intern for UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. I spent three of my undergraduate summers working at the Internal Medicine Clinic of Tangipahoa in Hammond, Louisiana as a Patient Care Assistant. In 2021, I was an intern for the Marketing and Communications Department at Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham. I am passionate about healthcare quality, hospital operations, and patient safety, and I hope to make an impact in these areas for healthcare organizations through my knowledge of healthcare administration and strategic communications.
