About Carson Choi

I am an analytics professional who is always looking to learn more. I'm continuously trying to find that sweet spot where data, decision making, process management, and team management meet. When growing up I always thought I would avoid a numbers and data based career. I'm naturally good at it but I always feared being locked in a dark room doing calculations all day. I have since learned that data and analytics is a ton of fun and is a becoming a necessary enabler for the complex businesses that we run today. I love the stories that you can tell through, and what you can learn about what we do and how we operate when you really dig in and understand what the data is telling you. I've spent my last few years working in sales organizations, which I love because of the fast-paced nature of their work and their constant ambition to be bigger and better than the previous period. I also love organizations that truly care about their people, and are inclusive of the many diverse people that make up our worlds. Outside of work hours you'll probably find me either at a movie theatre or playing sports, these being my two biggest passions. Like business data, movies are also telling us stories and helping us learn about the world around us. So, as different as those two things may seem, data and movies both connect to my primary passion of learning about the world.
