About Carson D. McCain

As an enthusiastic advocate for the precast industry, I'm on a mission to improve systems and processes for better precast products and successful projects. I love helping promote the use of precast and sharing industry knowledge to improve the precast construction experience. Currently, I'm working with Omaha-based general contractor Kiewit to develop construction engineering services that support precast operations across the U.S, Canada, and Mexico. In this role as one of Kiewit's in-house expert precast consultants, I regularly collaborate with teams focused on quality, safety, environmental, innovation, operations, estimating, procurement, and corporate communication. My passion for the precast industry includes an interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and ways we can leverage this technology to optimize and enhance precast concrete processes and other construction practices. In addition, I founded Preferred Point Consulting to support small- and medium-sized businesses in the precast and prefabrication markets. We assist with sales, outreach, workplace development, and offer full-service precast inspection support.
