Environmental/Health Science - Project Coordination | Bachelor's Degree in Biology As an environmental/health scientist at J.S. Held LLC, I apply my extensive biological, chemical knowledge as well as my experience with the biological foundations of life to conduct environmental assessments, investigations, and evaluation of environmental and occupational exposure to support leading toxicologists and industrial hygienists in providing expert reports and expert testimony. Additionally, I spearhead coordination of complex projects and office resources for use by our team members. I have been working in this role nearly two year and have had the opportunity to polish my interpersonal communication skills, my skills using Microsoft suite, as well as my knowledge of the biological foundations of life and the complications posed by environmental and occupational exposure to various hazards. I have a bachelor's degree in biology from Linfield College, where I focused in pre-medical studies and minored in Chemistry. I am well versed in Microsoft Office, biological principles of cellular life, and chemistry laboratory practices and techniques. My long-term career goal is to attend medical school and become a physician, while my short-term goals are to expand my knowledge of environmental and occupational hazards and finish my Master of Public Health degree to improve the quality of life of the communities I live in. I pride myself on my work ethic and ability to work for and alongside others. I strive to succeed in all that I do and I'm always looking for the next opportunity in life.
