About Carson Dorsey

In the beginning of my college career, I knew I wanted to be involved in business, but I did not know what business major to select. I studied all the business majors in the Harbert College of Business, and decided supply chain management was the best for me, but eventually I felt a calling towards finance. Numbers have always been easy to me, especially when I apply myself. Finance felt right for me because there are a wide variety of things you can do with a finance degree and I can choose a path that I enjoy. I have several strengths, but adaptability is what I consider to be my best strength. In the business world, things are always changing. One has to be able to adapt to new problems and find solutions. Things like this are very exciting to me and gives me a sense of purpose.
