About Carson Halls

I am an Information Systems student just finishing my senior year at BYU's Marriott School of Business, and I have a passion for learning about technology. When I first got to BYU I had no idea what I wanted to study, so I took classes from all kinds of majors. During my sophomore year I took an Accounting class and an Intro to Computer Programming class. I really enjoyed both of them, but I decided to pursue a degree in accounting. One of the prerequisite courses was Intro to Information Systems. I fell in love with this class because it combined computer programming and business, the two things I wanted to study. Since then I have had two semesters of learning about Information Systems and I am still relatively new to programming. I love to learn about Python, C++, ASP.NET, and new coding languages. I have developed a particular interest in cybersecurity. I have very little experience with it and am eager to learn more. When I'm not at school or work I love to play sports like volleyball, golf, soccer, tennis, and just about anything else. I love boating and particularly love to wake surf and wakeboard. I also like to play board games and card games and am always open to learning new games.
