I am the General Manager of a famous and historic sports bar in the heart of Iowa City, IA where I led a team of 100+ to offer the best customer experience at a multi million dollar business. During my time, I increased the net profits of the business by 8.6% within the first year. I prepared and served food and alcoholic beverages including wine, craft beer, and custom cocktails to 500-600 patrons per night. I studied and memorized 75+ popular and custom cocktail recipes, dozens of local beers and wines in order to give quality recommendations to guests. Maintained a clean, organized, and well-stocked business by managing inventory, cleaning surfaces, loading/unloading dishes, and replenishing fresh ingredients. I ensured a safe environment by coordinating with my team to regulate alcohol consumption and prevent conflicts.
