Who I Am: I'm Carson Kunce, a passionate third-year student at Queen’s University, specializing in Mechanical & Materials Engineering. My Mission: As an aspiring engineer, I aim to blend creativity with technical expertise to develop solutions that are not just effective but also environmentally responsible. Academic Excellence: At Queen's, I've taken courses like Engineering Design, Thermodynamics, and Fluid Mechanics. These have equipped me with a solid foundation in engineering principles, enhanced by hands-on projects and collaborative team efforts. Professional Experience- Business Continuity Intern at Laurentian Bank, where I developed skills in strategic planning and risk management- Sales Athlete at Nike Masonville, honing my customer service and team collaboration skills- Technical and Outreach Lead for the QVEX Robotics Club, leading design projects and engaging in community outreach. Accomplishments and Interests- Co-founded the Tri-Colour Classic, a student-run nonprofit, demonstrating my leadership and organizational skills- Avid participant in robotics competitions, reflecting my interest in practical applications of mechatronics and robotics- Enthusiastic about 3D modeling and simulation, proficient in tools like Autodesk Inventor and SOLIDWORKS.
