About Carson Nichols

Hello and thanks for stopping by! I am sure you know this by now, but my name is Carson Nichols, and I am employed as a Commercial Buyer at Trademark Metals Recycling, located at our Orlando, Florida area yards. A little about me, I graduated in 2022 from Miami University of Ohio with a major in Finance and a minor in Political Science. During my time in school, I took an active role in my social fraternity, on the campus’s Inter-fraternity Council and as an Undergraduate Assistant. Additionally, I was a member of a business fraternity and served on multiple committees. I was able to spend my summers doing a plethora of different jobs, from working in the Ohio Statehouse, to Bartending and interning at Raymond James. Following graduation, I spent the summer living and working as a bartender on Lake Erie, before moving down to Orlando in August of 2022. In my current role at TMR I manage inbound phone calls for four Central Florida area yards, in addition to handling transportation and commodity pricing for suppliers at the retail, industrial and demo job level. As part of my job, I determine and set the scale prices for 3 central Florida yards, ensuring competitive market pricing and fair margin. This job allows for me to use both my business acumen and soft skills to acquire raw materials. I am an active professional and look forward to growing my network!
