About Carsten Alsbo

I have experience since 2011 from the medical device industry at Radiometer Medical and at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics - both companies are part of the Danaher Corporation. The global roles have been commercial product management, manager for application and IT solution teams, director for Service Product Management and currently as sr. director for BEC Dx technical product support teams reporting to VP of Global Product Technical Support. Current position has 5 direct reports and in total we are 30 in the team. Current responsibilities at BEC Dx is to form and deploy long-term vision, product roadmap and service solutions. All with focus on customer needs. In previous positions at Radiometer Medical, I was delivering of Radiometers service business including standardization of service contracts, spare part business and cost to move service business into a PnL unit. Furthermore, I have implemented of a number of procedures, tools and talent assessment to improve efficiency in local subsidiaries by more than 20%. The commercialization and efficiency initiatives have been aligned and monitored towards the customer experience, with the goal to grow customer satisfaction and increase retention rate of customers. Prior to career in Radiometer, I have more than 15 years’ experience within biochemistry and the scientific industry at Exiqon (now part of Qiagen). Products at Exiqon were microarray, in situ hybridization and quantitative PCR within cancer diagnostics and research.
