As a senior manager with more than 28 years and counting of experience working in the IT software industry - I have learned a few lessons along the way: • Even in challenging times, simple solutions prove to be most effective. • New technologies are going to shine, you'll either join the ride or fall behind. • A system only runs best, once you have involved and optimally aligned all relevant stakeholders. We can see that Security, DPP & Compliance aspects are becoming increasingly important when deciding to transform into the cloud. Those days when data security and privacy were only important to very few specialized customers are over. With heavy fines and the threat of reputational damage that can have a devastating effect on companies, our customers and partners are now very attentive to these topics and expect clear statements from their cloud provider in this regard.
