About Carsten Schmidt

During my carrier I collected experience in different companies, industries and business disciplines. Up to now I used to work for companies doing world-wide business. Therefore I had the chance to travel to more than 40 countries for doing business. I have experience in Sales & Marketing, Business Development as well as in commercial management of multi-million projects. Furthermore I organised symposiums, exhibitions and do not hesitate to hold presentations in front of large groups. My background is commercial, but I do have a good understanding of technical features. In my current job I try to improve processes for my employer, take care of our foreign subsidiaries, sales agents and representative offices and try to develop new businesses and markets. I am able to handle the commercial part of large international projects (contract drafting, contract negotiations, commercial order execution, including financing, taxation or insurance issues).
