About Carsten Schulz

In my current role as Business Unit Manager "Modern Work" at novaCapta, I am responsible for the offerings for modernizing the digital workplace with M365. This includes expanding nC's "Digital Workplace" portfolio to meet customer and market requirements and implementing specific projects at customer sites. Another personal task is strategic consulting on C-level. I have a university degree in computer science with a focus on fuzzy systems, linear optimization and robotics. I have more than 20 years of international experience in information technology, including most with disciplinary management and responsibility of teams with different tasks and objectives. In my career I have held various technical, managerial, sales and consulting roles, specializing in the areas of Information Management (databases, data warehouses and business intelligence) and Modern Workplace (collaboration and communication). I really enjoy showing customers and partners what they can achieve with new technologies and helping them become better in their business. I am fascinated by the changes around the digital workplace and their impact on a new way of working and culture. I am motivated by developing new ideas in these areas and translating them into a strategy that can then be applied and used in business and our society. The introduction of technology and the resulting cultural change is also a focus of my work and interest today. I look forward to the opportunity to strategically leverage new technologies (e.g, Artificial Intelligence/Intelligence Workplace) and new interfaces (VR/AR, Smart Devices) in new application areas in the future.
