Experienced in engineering consultancy and research as well as project management- During entire professional career worked with hydraulics, hydrodynamics and morphology including forces and impacts on structures in flowing water- Well acquainted with analysis tools, such as mathematical modelling. In addition, considerable experience with geotechnical matters and soil-structure interaction- Specialist in river dynamics and morphology and in the erosive and scouring forces acting on structures in rivers in particular but also in marine environments- During the latest years worked with hydraulics and erosion aspects in relation with tailings deposits and earth fill dams- Has worked extensively abroad. For 9 years stationed abroad, most of the time in developing countries. Assignments abroad have mainly been in connection with development projects (financed by Danida, World Bank, ADB, EU, NDF, Sida) within the field of water resources- Experienced in technology transfer, formal as well as on-the-job training- Combines a strong theoretical background in hydrodynamics and sediment transport with practical experience from employment with Christiani & Nielsen (at that time Denmarks largest contractor within the field of marine structures and immersed tube tunnels).
