About Carter Barrett
In 1990, I began working in Cumming, GA for Wachovia Bank. As a small community of about residents, I recognized the possibilities for growth and improvement as Atlanta was already expanding north. I immediately plugged into the civic organizations in Forsyth County and have spent the last 30+ years in service to this community. Becoming more entrepreneurial in my career, I started Community Business Bank in 2008. Despite the Great Recession in 2008, the bank was very successful with a focus on business fundamentals and conservative economic principles. I have since become North Atlanta Market President for Affinity Bank and am a founding member of Dime Capital, lending & investing in businesses including real estate and small businesses as well as offering business planning and development.
