About Carter Gaul

As a business student interested in working in the accounting industry, I take pride in my enthusiasm, my encouraging nature, and my ability to be friendly to others. Enthusiastic: As tennis player, I carry a deep love and passion for the sport and I show that on and off the tennis court. In one match that I was playing, my doubles partner and I were struggling but during one point I got an overhead and smashed it and won the point and yelled "Let's go" and provided great energy that was needed. The tide of the match was turned, and we played with a higher energy level which led us to then win the match. It was amazing to see how an energy swing helped us win that match. Encouraging: One night, I went out roller skating with some of my friends at a nearby roller rink. I struggled at first but eventually got the hang of it, but one of my friends was really having a hard time. Throughout the night, I stayed with him giving him tips on how to improve skating but also to improve his spirit. It was awesome to see how giving tips and saying some encouraging words helped my friend be able to roller skate by the end of the night. Friendly: During my first semester of college, I wanted to make good friends. I decided to go to this religious meeting one night and I went in knowing no one there. I started going up to people after the event was over introducing myself trying to meet new people. By the end of night, I introduced myself to so many different people. Today, I am close friends with some of the people that I met that night. In the future, I am looking to apply these skills in the accounting industry.
