Carter Patterson is a high-achieving Strategic/Enterprise sales executive with a demonstrated skillset of revenue generation in B2B financial software-as-a-service (SaaS) information technology sales and wealth management (investments) sales. 8+ years of combined consultative B2B sales experience. Carter is currently a Strategic Enterprise Account Executive at Donnelley Financial (NYSE: DFIN) and provides FinTech and RegTech software-as-a-service (SaaS) information technology solutions to Fortune 500 public companies, large private companies, investment banks, law firms, and more. Carter provides solutions in the areas of IPOs, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and debt and equity capital raises via Donnelley’s ‘Venue’ Virtual Data room software (VDR), ActiveDisclosure (financial & SEC reporting software), and eBrevia (AI contract analytics) software. Carter works with enterprise clients and prospects in the Midwest region- including Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky and Western PA. Specifically, Carter works with local legal, finance, corporate development, strategy, investment banking, and private equity professionals. Carter finished 2022 with roughly $3.1 million in revenue and a 138% quota attainment. Prior to joining DFIN, Carter worked in wealth management sales at Bank of America / Merrill Lynch (NYSE: BAC). Carter was promoted twice at Merrill, ultimately to an Assistant Vice President, as he was a top-performing, revenue-generating advisor. Carter was able to acquire over $75 million in new assets under management by selling investment products to new clients and successfully managing those client relationships. Carter received the Pinnacle Award in 2019 and the Valiant Award in 2020, which recognizes the top 4% of sales performers. Carter holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Carter is also working towards completing his MBA degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with an expected graduation in 2023.
