Hello!As the Clinical Nutrition Market Director for the Sacramento and North State CommonSpirit Hospitals, I lead and support the Registered Dietitians across nine facilities. My role is centered on empowering my team with the tools, skills, and guidance they need to function as a cohesive, high-performing group. Partnering closely with the Food Service Market Director, I am committed to enhancing both patient outcomes and the overall employee experience within our market.A core focus of my work is increasing employee morale and ensuring every team member feels heard, valued, and appreciated. Whether in person or through virtual meetings, I collaborate with RDs to refine their charting practices, integrate the latest clinical research, and implement new strategies to enhance care. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement, I strive to elevate the role and visibility of Clinical Nutrition within our hospitals, including active participation during ICU rounds and on patient floors.In addition to operational oversight, I actively contribute to strategic initiatives, such as improving nutrition guidelines, updating acute care menus, and aligning practices with the Clinical Nutrition Council’s standards. These efforts are not only aimed at enhancing patient care but also at strengthening the professional growth of my team and boosting their sense of purpose.With a hands-on leadership approach, I guide my team to tackle challenges collaboratively and celebrate their successes. RDs have made incredible strides through years of hard work, and I deeply appreciate the dedication and expertise they bring to their roles.
