About Carys Aldridge

Currently available for creative pattern cutting opportunities and/or garment design – for fashion suppliers, manufacturers, and start-up companies. I am used to working from a sketch or alternatively from an existing sample or measurements. I have a thorough understanding of womenswear multi-product; I am proficient in both jersey and woven fabrics. I work quickly, efficiently and accurately, I am confident in all niche markets within the industry from fast fashion to luxury boutique and high street, as well as one-off bespoke patterns and swimwear. I also offer amendment services to the patterns I have provided and to other existing patterns. Fashion design has enabled me to have an all-round strong understanding of garment construction and key trends. I relish in my creativity and technical skills, I work well under pressure and tight deadlines. I generally work from my own studio, however, I can also offer in-house cover if needed. Patterns are done manually and at a competitive rate, please message me to discuss your pattern cutting; design or amendment needs and turn around times. Jersey and Woven Lookbooks are available upon request. Best Wishes, Carys
