About Carys Groves

I am an autonomous, cooperative, and solution-driven graduate with very strong people skills. My current role in Hamilton House, Forward Space allows me to use my initiative and creativity to assist all our members in the building. As well as looking after our members, I am relied upon to sell the space, manage the social media and also manage the building safety. I enjoy working in a team but am just as happy to work alone. My attention to detail and ability to work with a very wide range of people, maintaining a professional yet personal approach, enhance my ability to broker and manage partnerships, even when the parties are after very different things. In my previous role, I became first port of call to sort things out when challenges arose, be it the challenge of new starters, problems with IT, or a breakdown in communication with trading partners. I am experienced in using my networks and networking ability to build social capital, and therefore influence in a workplace, to enable me to develop creative solutions to whatever challenges the day provides.
