With over 27 years of leadership experience at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), I am a retired Assistant Chief who has dedicated my career to border security and protection. I have led and managed multiple teams and operations across the US and abroad, ensuring the safety and integrity of the U.S. borders and the people who cross them. I have also developed and implemented policies, procedures, and strategies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the DHS mission. Some of my achievements include securing a large contract for border technology, overseeing a significant project to improve intelligence sharing, and facilitating a substantial deal to cooperate with international partners. I have also acquired and honed skills such as communication, coordination, problem-solving, and crisis management. My core competencies are leadership, border security, and protection. I am passionate about serving the public and advancing the vision and objectives of emerging, strategic, and industry leading companies.
