About Casey Allen

Writing: My writing experience spans more than 20 years of business, rhetorical and creative writing. I have written and edited a diverse body of material including political speeches, book reviews, ad copy, training manuals, research papers, essays, poetry, business correspondence and reports. I have free-lanced writing ad copy as well as advertising and marketing content for a variety of businesses. My recent experience includes five years of working at the executive level of county government, where effective communication and business writing were my primary responsibilities. Teaching: I have taught Introduction to Academic Writing and Written Business Communication at the college level, and English at the high school level. I have years of experience teaching and training youth and adults in a variety of religious and volunteer community settings, including teaching adult literacy and working with at-risk youth.
