I am a professional with 8 years of experience in project management and design, facilitating conversations among diverse stakeholders, researching criminal legal system issues and reform solutions, and uplifting and elevating the voices of those most directly impacted. I have a long track record of creating change, including successfully advocating for critical legislative reforms before the D.C. Council, including legislation aimed at improving oversight at the D.C. Department of Corrections. I navigate difficult conversations among diverse stakeholders effectively, allowing us to continue moving towards our shared vision and goal. I am happiest when I feel as if I am making a change and positive impact in the community, either through community advocacy or helping organizations actualize their social impact efforts.
