Hello, my name is Casey Bourque and I am a hard working team player with an aptitude for success! I am a veteran of the United States Navy, that spent several years as an Electronics Technician. I held secondary duties as follows - Building Manager - I conducted building inspections, ensuring code compliance throughout the building. I worked with local fire dept. to maintain safety systems, reached out to various vendors to repair different systems such as HVAC, water etc. while maintaining proper documentation, adhering to strict deadlines, and reporting to supervisors on progress- Kennel Trainer - I assisted in maintaining and training working military dogs. This experience provided me with high stress exposure, teaching me to think clearly in moments of duress, such as a dog barrelling towards you to train a bite take down. Overall, this was a good experience- Project Manager - I managed teams of sailors and vendors to ensure smooth base operations while working with the on-base Police Department. Various operations included snow removal, building demolition, technical support and base access duties. After my military experience, I attended Coastal Carolina University, seeking a Bachelor's Degree, during which I maintained a 3.85 GPA, received Student of the Year in 2019, and cultivated an extensive network. I am currently a free-lance editor, a Realtor, and a AP Agent for Nordstrom. I am actively growing my skill set by attending Google Certification Courses, focusing on Program Management, UI/UX, and IT Technical Support.
