Luckily, I have stumbled into the helicopter industry, where, after a decade of other seasonal work (raft guide, ski patrol, wildland firefighter, farmer, bicycle mechanic), these well-honed traits are appreciated and even desirable. When not flying or studying FAA regulations, I can be found working at a local flower and vegetable farm, riding bikes, kayaking, juggling, or speed flying in the mountains. I am also passionate about youth (particularly girls) mentorship and sharing the incredible experiences and jobs I've been able to pursue that were not available to women just a generation ago.
