About Casey Cole

From high school and through college I've been involved in various service programs in my hometown community of Harford County, Maryland. In high school, I volunteered as a camp counselor at the Harford Glen Environmental Education Center where local elementary school students attend for a week-long, immersive education experience. More recently, I volunteered for the Havre de Grace Housing Authority by providing face-painting at the Summer Jam Festival, as well as collecting donations and costumes for their Halloween event. My volunteer service and support of these non-profit organizations actively benefited the lives of local children, and these experiences have gifted me a broader social perspective. Not only was I able to develop and implement my communication and leadership skills, I was also inspired to continue helping others while utilizing my Communication Studies degree. In my personal life, I enjoy being in nature and can frequently be found hiking local trails or writing poetry in the great outdoors.
