About Casey Davison

Casey acquired his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at North Carolina State University in 2019. Casey currently works as a Mechanical Engineer at the Technology and Engineering Branch (TEB) within the Engineering and Sensor Integration (ESI) Directorate (formerly Special Product and Prototyping Division in the Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate) in the US Army's Army Future Command's (AFC) C5ISR Center. Casey primarily does mechanical design work on various Army/DoD programs such as Family of Counter Unmanned Systems (FoCUS), Ground Based Observational Surveillance System (Expeditionary)(GBOSS(E)), and Base Expeditionary Targeting Surveillance Systems - Combined (BETTS-C) while also leading smaller efforts such as integrating Intra-Soldier Wireless (ISW) and Augmented Reality (AR) with the Laser Targeting Locator Module II (LTLM II). Recently, Casey has begun working with the Army's Field Assistance in Science and Technology (FAST) Office to bring new state-of-the-art technologies to Army Special Forces and Special Operations units quickly and cheaply. Casey frequently works face-to-face with various customers within the DoD including various Program Executive Offices (PEO's), Program and Product Offices (PM's/PdM's), the US Army's Combat Capabilities Development Command's (CCDC's) Field Assistance in Science and Technology (FAST) Office, and groups within the Special Operations Command (SOCOM). Casey also frequently interfaces with members of industry; generally engineers and executives in small businesses or program managers at large contractors.
