I have worked in both the retail banking and digital service spaces in my time at FAIRWINDS Credit Union, where I have developed skills in attention to detail, organization, fraud prevention, and problem solving. My passion is in nonprofit work, where I currently serve as a volunteer board member for The Keri Anne DeMott Foundation, an organization created in memory of my sister after she was killed in a car crash by a drunk driver in 2015. The Keri Anne DeMott foundation aims to increase traffic safety and education nationwide while also emphasizing personal accountability for the decisions that we all make both on and off the road. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management at UCF to expand my knowledge, network in the philanthropic sector, and gain the skills necessary to operate a successful and sustainable nonprofit organization.
