I am a project manager, investment analyst, and process fanatic with an inclination to forge my own path. I firmly believe that resourceful and independent self-starters who undertake expedition-style and extended travel will benefit any professional organization. Having the drive and determination to self-teach and work through complex scenarios is invaluable. I am driven towards the intersection of creativity and data. Details, accuracy, conscientiousness, and intentionality are paramount to me. I'm constantly striving to improve processes and documentation to keep organizations efficient. I have given solo presentations to key community stakeholders at board meetings, been a guest on live radio broadcasts as a company public relations representative, and worked in a team to determine the appropriate course of action in a child protection case. My varied background in my professional and personal life lends itself well to positions that demand creative, innovative, and inspired thought. Where others may be intimidated is where I find the most growth: public speaking, challenging the status quo, extended international travel, pedaling a bicycle across the United States. Writing and editing are true passions. I have many examples of published work from my time writing for an outdoor lifestyle magazine based in Grand Marais, Minnesota. I have a magnetic draw towards personal finance and can often be found absorbing as much information as possible about retirement planning, financial markets, tax law, and microeconomics.
