About Casey Gallagher

I am the current Theater Manager at IFC Center, a premier art house movie theater under the AMC Networks umbrella. Since joining the team in March 2021 as an Assistant Manager, I have committed to operational excellence and empathetic leadership, and following promotion to Theatre Manager in December 2021, have taken on additional responsibilities of corporate liaison, enhancing the theatre’s customer service experience, and working with multiple company departments to facilitate operational management. I hold a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Communication/Journalism with a minor in Public Relations and a minor in Theater from Shippensburg University. At Shippensburg University, I was actively involved in the student run theater company ACT V and led the organization as their Vice President in my sophomore year. Following graduation, I moved to New York to begin my professional career and transitioned from live theater to house management for TV/film premieres and events in 2017 at SVA Theatre, working on movie/TV premieres by Focus Features, NBC Universal, HBO, and Netflix as well as film festivals like Tribeca, NewFest, and New York Children's Film Festival. In my personal life, I enjoy watching Broadway shows, cheering on my favorite sports team the Pittsburgh Steelers, watching both prestige television and reality TV shows and updating my Letterbox reviews.
