About Casey Kirby

From humble (yet delicious) beginnings of serving ice cream at Bruster's and waiting tables, to unloading trucks at Best Buy, being a rock climbing instructor, and a medical technician/activities director at a nursing home, and a personal caregiver as well as a youth director, knowing there was truly something I was meant to do that I'd not quite discovered yet and God was going to "land in my lap" despite the cynicism of my family for me thinking such a way.in April 2008 my aunt told me a school called Hope Academy was hiring teacher assistants, and by looking into that led me to becoming a line therapist at Hope Reach and working with children with autism. Those were my beginnings where I discovered "what I wanted to be when I grew up" and was able to make what I love to do a career (while being in a rock band on the side and meeting my to-be husband.) So now, having a mom that was a kindergarten music teacher and youth director in my childhood years paid off. I got to put all my years of experience of working with kids, leading puppet shows, and downright being silly and often hit by water balloons and the like to good use :)
