With six years of experience in the hotel industry, I’ve worked my way up from housekeeping to management roles, primarily in 4-star hotels. My journey has given me a deep understanding of hotel operations, customer service, and team leadership. Currently, as a Duty Manager and Housekeeping Manager, I oversee daily hotel operations, including managing the housekeeping and reception teams, developing SOPs, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. I’ve had the unique experience of managing a hotel that transitioned to emergency housing during the pandemic, where I led with adaptability and problem-solving under challenging circumstances. My strengths lie in customer service, conflict resolution, and team management, as I’m often the go-to person to handle issues between staff or guests. My responsibilities include training, rostering, budgeting, ordering, and overall team management. I believe that taking care of the team is key to operational success. By prioritizing staff well-being, I inspire them to work hard and take pride in delivering high standards of service. My hands-on leadership style, combined with a focus on creating a positive work environment, helps drive both team morale and guest satisfaction.
