About Casey Mt Clemens

As a child I had a fascination with technology. I would always be taking electronics apart and reassembling them. My parents opened a book and computer store when I was six. At that time most computers were built in-house. My father taught me to build the systems for sale, which only served to strengthen my interest in electronics. Throughout my school years I worked at my parents store building, repairing, troubleshooting, and educating customers on their computer systems. In high school I got my first programming experience with a TI-83 calculator. Other kids were downloading games to their calculators while I was writing simple games for mine, as well as programs to complete simple calculations automatically. When I turned twelve there was a program offered to help children to build their own businesses. I started a computer cleaning service. Over my three years of running that company I had clients from individual customers to lawyers office and doctor offices. At times I had to hire my older brother to be able to complete larger jobs to minimize down time for customers systems. A few years back I started a project to turn my pc laptop into a working dual boot Mac OS system. This taught me a lot about computer programs and trouble shooting. As well as research and self education. I really enjoyed the challenge of having to figure things out for myself and learn more about the systems I was working with. I wouldn't exactly call myself a jack of all trades as there are many areas I do not have experience in. I am a quick learner and have little trouble picking up new skills and excelling at them. I have experience in construction from flooring, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical. I am also able to do repairs on most types of machinery such as automobiles. I am often found tinkering with something or repairing something to keep busy. My other passions include camping, scuba diving, hunting, fishing, and spending time with my growing family.
