With almost 20 years of experience in maternal health and midwifery, I'm passionate about revolutionizing perinatal care through evidence-based practice and patient-centered models. As Senior Director of Patient Programs at Oula, I bridge traditional midwifery wisdom with healthcare innovation, bringing unique insights from my journey as both a licensed midwife, founder and strategist. I believe pregnancy is a physiologic life event and not just a medical diagnosis – thinking holistically, centering our patients, leading with curiosity, and offering clinical expertise is the foundation of midwifery and I believe this approach is part of the solution to close the health equity gap in this country, creating safer and more meaningful births - and healthier whole humans. In my current work I lead clinical initiatives that bridge traditional midwifery wisdom with modern healthcare guidelines and innovation. My journey from licensed midwife to a leader in healthcare innovation has given me unique insights into the intersectionality in perinatal care — creating a shared vision that uplifts common goals and prioritizes needs across patient, provider, payers and health systems.
