Why? How? My brain is constantly volleying between these tiny three letter words and finding the answer thrills me. Why did that sale work?(or not?) How can this be more productive? Why do I continue to take home leftovers when I know they are going to sit in my fridge until I throw them out? Knowledge is empowering for a solution-oriented creative like myself. It provides another puzzle piece for building engaging materials, making better business decisions and understanding the world around me. Would you believe that even the last question has an actual psychologically based answer? 17 years in my career has taught me priceless hands-on skills in a field that I would fall in love with and given me opportunities to grow. I’ve been able to independently explore aspects of the business that didn’t even exist when I first joined but would become vital as our ever changing world has evolved. I love being challenged and helping others succeed. I researched and trained myself on marketing, customer mapping and behavioral economics using online workshops then implemented what I learned in promotions which: Improved customer experience, engagement and retention. Tripled enrollment in our customer loyalty program. Improved our open rate and click rates by 43% in less than 6 months. Increased average customer order by 131%. Saved time and increased productivity for our sales team. Always the student, I’m looking forward to what I will learn and use to grow next.
