I graduated with a BBA in Marketing and Journalism, as well as a MEd in Secondary Education. I love to write and am passionate about education, fashion, sports, and entertainment. I am motivated and determined to make a name for myself in this world. I am organized, great at multi-tasking, and I learn quickly. I work well with others and am always up for a challenge! I look forward to what the future has in store, whatever opportunities may come my way!This is my fourth year as Head Cheer Coach and teacher at McKinney North High School. I am passionate about what I do and am excited to continue building a successful cheer program and be a positive influence and mentor for my kids! Previously, I worked at Haltom High School as the Varsity Cheer Coach and English teacher, Grapevine High School as the Varsity Cheer Coach and English teacher, and North Garland High School as a cheer coach and English teacher. I was blessed to work with great kids and form friendships that will last a lifetime, but I love where life has taken me and wouldn't change it for the world! I have taught multiple grades and levels of students including 9th-11th grade English, Reading Intervention, Inclusion, On-Level, and PreAP/Advanced. All kids deserve support and a quality education. I will do everything in my power to make sure my students know they are cared for, both in regard to their education and life outside the school walls.Prior to teaching, I worked in business as part of the audio visual industry. While employed at AVMG, I performed a variety of tasks. As an office assistant, I would do anything from general office work, to invoicing, to editing capture projects for specific shows. I also traveled to manage the exhibit floor and sales desks for certain annual meetings. As a Customer Solutions Coordinator, I handled the travel arrangements, housing, invoicing, expense reports and P&L management for my team. I also helped with pre-show planning (budgets/quotes, agendas, on-site daily check lists, management charts, etc.) and scripting elements for certain General Sessions. While onsite, I would manage meeting rooms, exhibit floors, and certain groups of labor. I would also work directly with our clients to ensure all of their needs and wants were exceeded.
