About Cass Henagar

Hi I'm Cass, a mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma who took the plunge into the world of civil engineering. I'm into anything design related. Beginning in high school, CAD/CAM, solid model design, additive, and subtractive manufacturing techniques became my interests. Shortly after, I worked as a civil drafter/designer focusing on construction projects from conception and survey, through design and plan production, to staking and construction. Throughout college I continued honing my skills in mechanical design softwares, especially SolidWorks. Post graduation, I continued my career in the civil engineering world, passed the FE exam, and obtained an EI certificate from the Oklahoma Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Surveyors. Over the years of doing work in civil design, my strongest points lie in leveraging Autodesk softwares, primarily Civil3D, to conceptualize, model, and create plans for construction projects. Creating lightweight, dynamic models is something I strive for. Proficient in computer aided design with education and experience using AutoCAD, Civil3D, SolidWorks, Inventor, and Fusion 360. Holder of CSWA, CSWP, and AutoCAD user certifications. Project oriented, able to work on a team to accomplish goals under a deadline, and can iterate designs to reach optimal solutions. Feel free to message me if you'd like to learn more about me, or just discuss a topic! My portfolio is shown below with some personal projects I have completed over the years.
