Customer service was one of the first skills I learned and one I’ve consistently utilized in every position over my professional career. I can easily anticipate the needs and feelings of my clients and am quick to offer my help. There’s nothing quite like the rush of satisfaction I find in being able to solve a problem for someone. I’m always asking questions and striving to learn more, because the more I know, the more I can help. I love mastering new things, whether it’s running a 100-year-old printing press or finding new shortcuts in an Adobe program. In each position I’ve had over the years, I’ve found myself becoming the ‘go-to’ person to answer questions, give feedback, brainstorm solutions, and make sure a task is completed well and on-time. I prefer routine and having structured processes to follow, but I adapt quickly to accommodate any changes or handle new tasks. I managed and serviced numerous accounts in my previous position, communicating with clients daily. It wasn’t unusual for me to have anywhere from 10-20 open projects going on at one time, so I’m very experienced in efficiently balancing multiple projects and tasks. In my previous company, I started as a production associate and worked my way up to a senior account manager through my curious mindset and questioning nature, quickly becoming a subject matter expert in all things print.(And, if you ask my friends and family, a bit of a nerd about it. There’s not a menu or mail piece that I don’t analyze and critique.) After 9 years I feel like I’m practically bursting at the seams with print knowledge and experience, and I want to continue to utilize my skills within this industry.
