Background

About Cassandra Ekanayake

I am a penultimate student at the University of Auckland studying a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science conjoint, triple majoring in Finance, Accounting, and Information Technology Management. Alongside my academic studies, I have gained a wide range of work experience that has allowed me to broaden my skill set. I currently hold a role at Rainbow Kids Parties working as a kids birthday entertainer, as well as tutoring INFOMGMT 192 at the University of Auckland. Outside my studies and part-time work, I enjoy baking, golf, and running. Recently, I have been focusing personal time on my baking, an entrepreneurial endeavour I started after having several requests for cakes. Not only do I bake for friends and customers but I also enjoy volunteer baking through GBB. I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills in real-world settings and to contribute meaningfully to teams while continuing to learn and grow professionally. I am currently seeking internships or other opportunities to gain hands-on experience and further develop my professional journey.
