Cassandra Ewer, top selling New Home Consultant with Lennar, former V.P. of Sales & Marketing for Ryland Homes and Designated Broker/Sales Manager for CalAtalantic Homes, has more than 25 years’ experience in residential real estate & new homes sales. Cassandra joined Trend Homes in 2009 as Director of Sales & Marketing. Upon the merger-acquisition of Trend & Ryland in 2012, Cassandra accepted the position of Ryland V.P. of Sales. Following the Ryland/ Standard Pacific merger she managed sales teams at CalAtlantic Homes. Here are highlights from her 8-year tenure with Trend/Ryland/CalAtlantic: • Hired, trained, & built a sales team from the ground up - from 0 to 28 full time salespeople prior to CalAtlantic merger. Cassandra knows how to attract, hire, and retain excellent people. • Grew sales from 60 in the first year to nearly 600 in 2015 with no additional sales managers. Cassandra has strong organizational skills and can effectively reduce non-essential tasks as well as delegate responsibility to allow leadership opportunities for employees. • Operated a sales & marketing department with modest budget allocations. Cassandra continually seeks for ways to obtain the maximum return for minimal investment. • Developed a "Sales Associate" training position. Cassandra is a dynamic teacher and trainer. • Transitioned to new computer system sales platforms (CRM, Touchpoints) within 30 days was proficient, training sales teams on new systems. Cassandra embraces technology, seeks out & uses new marketing tools. • Hired & trained transaction coordinators, marketing assistants, design schedulers. Cassandra is a graduate of the University of Oregon and Utah native, with degrees in Music & English Literature, as well as a classical musician who has performed worldwide, garnering 4 Grammy wins on professional recordings.
