About Cassandra Tan

My journey began at NTU, where I pursued a double degree in Biomedical Sciences and Chinese Medicine. Since becoming a licensed TCM physician in 2014, I've had the privilege of helping diverse individuals overcome health challenges. Along the way, I noticed a recurring pattern: many of my patients' illnesses were rooted in emotional and life stresses. These prolonged stresses manifested as conditions like hives, eczema, insomnia, gut issues, and hair loss. It became clear that these patients needed more than just medicine; they needed a compassionate listener, a safe space, and a shift in their perspective on their situations. This realization led me to explore coaching. Through coaching, I discovered a profound opportunity for healing at the emotional and soul level—a level that traditional medicine alone couldn't always reach. Today, I am committed to integrating life coaching with TCM to offer a more holistic approach to healing. Pursuing certification from the International Coach Federation has been instrumental in refining my coaching skills. It's about empowering individuals to not only address their physical symptoms but also to delve deeper, uncovering and resolving the emotional and spiritual roots of their health challenges. My goal is to guide my patients towards comprehensive healing, supporting them on their journey to better health and well-being, inside and out.
