You would find me to be a down to earth person. Laid back but anxiety ridden lol, true. Also, I am straight forward and honest. I create art for pleasure- for others and myself. I would call myself a starving artist at this point, lol. It would be nice to be able to support myself with Art as opposed to SSD, but with the current economy.I am a fine ceramic sculptor in great need of a 220v Kiln of my own, lol. Firing can become an expensive and a cost prohibitive juncture at times. I have been wood burning for 30 years, I paint (oils and acrylics) and am experimenting w/water colors. I draw. I am Usi Reiki II - Certified. Soon to be Level - Reiki Master I seek life knowledge of all kinds and am always open to learning and growing. Every day is an opportunity to gain knowledge and grow both Spiritually and Intellectually and as a human-being in general. A poem I wrote and submitted to The International Library Of Poetry was published in 2005. That year my poem not only appeared on page 1, but on a special disc set of 42 poems selected by a special committee. Also, that year I was invited to attend the Annual Awards and weekend convention including many class opportunities but was unable to attend. Had I attended I would have had the honor of reading my poem at the Washington Monument to a large crowd of individuals and judges of great repute, with the opportunity to take home a Award. I had made finalist. I was honored at the opportunity.
