About Cassi Dietz

You’re taking a big step traveling and you need a partner, a resource and someone you trust. I have your best interest in mind! Here is just a little bit about me on a professional level: I started my career when I was 16 as a CNA in my hometown, Norfolk, NE. Two years later got my Medication Aide and did a combination of those two for 8 years. As much as I admire nurses for what they do, I knew that wasn’t the path for me. After changing my major several times, I realized I enjoyed learning about human anatomy. I wanted to see, feel and learn about it in real life, not just in the books or on a cadaver pig… thank you pig for sacrificing your life, RIP. I moved to Omaha, NE and started my journey as a Surgical Tech at Nebraska Methodist College, I graduated in 2014 and continued that career path for 4 years. I started my career at Creighton University, but the majority of my career was at Nebraska Medicine where I specialized in General, Vascular, Transplant and Thoracic. I then helped open Lorenzen Outpatient Center, which is one of Nebraska Medicine’s outpatient centers. There, I learned more than I could ever imagine. We did every specialty offered by an outpatient center. I did not realize how specialized each specialty was, so I soaked up as much information as I could, buddied up with the surgeons and asked them to teach me. I am very thankful for those 4 years of experience and the work family that I acquired during that time! Travel nursing has always been an interest of mine but I have never been brave enough to take the leap so, here I am, living my life vicariously though your travel adventures!
