Hello, LinkedIn friends! My name is Cassidi and I am a senior studying Data Analytics and International Business at the W.P. Carey School of Business! Majoring in Business Analytics, my studying and coursework - thus far - has focused on programming languages, multi-dimensional databases, and business math for data analyses. I am currently learning Python, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI and statistical and mathematical analyses for business solutions in Microsoft Excel. This past 2024 summer, I worked in cybersecurity defense at CVS Health. In my internship, I learned an extensive knowledge about AI and machine learning algorithms, of modeling and cleansing data, and of programs like Databricks, which contained mostly PySpark and SQL. I came to find that I am a passionate learner and excited to apply new technologies and AI in corporate industries. Aside from the technical aspect, CVS offered me a very welcoming and supportive atmosphere, along with opportunities for personal and professional growth. That is something I admire in a company and is something I look for in my search for full-time positions after school! As with my certificate in International Business Studies, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy my Spring 2024 semester where I learned about international businesses and economies in Europe.
