As a Virtual Inspector on the Loss Draft team for Assurant, I assist insurance and mortgage companies by conducting remote property inspections, verifying damage, and ensuring all claim documentation is accurate and submitted promptly. Working in a fully remote environment, I independently manage tasks, communicate efficiently across digital platforms, and navigate multiple systems to deliver timely results. Though I serve as a third-party contractor, I maintain a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and responsiveness while working closely with clients. This role has sharpened my time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. In addition to my current role, I’m actively pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice at Charleston Southern University, having transferred from Florence-Darlington Technical College to further my education. My academic and professional experiences are helping me build a strong foundation for a future career in criminal investigation or federal service.
