About Cassidy Geiger

I have been in the ag industry my whole life growing up on a livestock and row crop farm. I have worked for numerous farming/livestock operations during my high school years whether that just be grain cart or general laborer helping with anything they needed. Once I graduated high school I originally went to Vet Tech school received that degree worked in that career for 3 years then got burnt out. I switched professions in January of 2024 when a Northerns Partners employ reached out to me and offered me a job in the seed department. I was always intrigued by seed and wanted to learn more so I managed the warehouse, loaded and unloaded semis, treated, scouted fields, help planted trial plots and kept everything well organized in that facility. About 6-7 months in that position the main salespeople ended up leaving, in the time I was able to obtain my class A CDL with tanker/hazmat endorsements and my drone license. Then I got moved to a different facility out of seed into agronomy operations and sales currently. While being in this newer position I have also obtained my operator/applicator license, and ammonia anhydrous competent certification. In this position I have been able to learn many different branches of the company and I have been able to see the different sides of this career field.
