About Cassie Carmichael

I have over fifteen years experience working in both the legal and academic research administration fields. My previous job experiences have allowed me to hone my research, writing, organizational and interpersonal skills. I have almost ten years experience in academic research contract review and negotiation including clinical trial and sponsored research agreements. Additionally, I have expertise in proofreading and editing legal and insurance documents. I am also skilled in reading and interpreting statutes, regulations, legislation and other regulatory policies. After the birth of my son in 2010, I took a brief hiatus from the professional work force. However, during that time I provided home improvement services (painting, tiling, drywall repair and refinishing) to a small clientele. I also assisted with website maintenance, product photography, researching of TTB and New York State Liquor Authority regulations and press releases for my family's agriculture business in Central New York (via telecommute). In February 2014, I re-entered the traditional work force in my current position as a Library Assistant at the Oldham County Public Library in La Grange, KY. As of August 2015, I have acquired additional responsibilities at the Library as a Technical Services Associate.
