I am currently leading new product development and overseeing system enhancements for a fast-growing fintech company that focuses on B2B payments. My main responsibilities include product design and customer-facing improvements, full system and product rewrites, as well as managing api, billing, and fraud functions within the system. As a proactive Product Manager on a sizable scrum team, I collaborate closely with our technical team lead and scrum team to deliver high-quality products utilizing the Agile methodology and scrum framework. My duties include crafting business rules, defining user stories, and managing work priorities. I engage in cross-functional partnerships with various departments, including Project Management, QA, Marketing, Sales, DevOps, and Client Services, to develop customer-centric products that meet market demands. I oversee the creation and maintenance of several roadmaps, as well as conduct product forecasting and analyze competitive and other data to inform the strategic direction of our product. I provide mentorship and training to other product managers and product analysts within my team, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where open and honest communication is encouraged. I hold advanced certifications as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, and leadership through Scrum Alliance. Additionally, I have completed extensive leadership training to further enhance my skills and knowledge in the field. In my previous role, I served as a product manager overseeing three distinct web-based platforms within the company. I was responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle, including feature and enhancement development, defect resolution, and quality assurance processes. I collaborated closely with sales associates and clients to gather platform requirements and prioritize enhancements and defect fixes. I worked in coordination with other project managers to schedule releases and ensure the availability of necessary development and QA resources. Additionally, I closely interacted with development and QA departments, acting as the Scrum Product Owner for the platforms under my management during release cycles. I spearheaded the creation of detailed project requirements and implementation plans for upcoming features on our platforms and offered my support and input throughout the development process. After the release, I oversaw the quality assurance testing to validate that the system was functioning correctly and meeting the desired standards.
